Hi, I’m Jonathan!

As of Fall 2025, I am a graduate student at Northern Illinois University where I am working towards a Masters of Public Administration. This site serves as a repository of projects, both academic and hobbyist, and whatever else I decide to put here. Here is a link to my professional website, if that is what you are looking for.

As a student of public administration, my areas of inquiry include quality of representation and policy proliferation. As a practitioner of public administration my focus is on the protection of civil liberties, shared service provision, program design and development, and accessibility and access. As a data analyst my skills are primarily in issues of model selection and specification in regression analysis. As a hobbyist, I mess around with supervised and unsupervised machine learning based categorization (in particular Text-as-Data) and Social Network Analysis. During my undergraduate, I studied Mathematics and Political Science (International Relations). I presented a paper which created a network based measure of interdependence at MPSA 2025 as part of Section 41, International Security.

I will be attending the 2025 ICMA Tampa Conference in late October.
